Coconut Oil |
Creates a hard, cleansing bar with fluffy lather. Adds some moisturizing properties. |
Safflower Oil |
Adds silkiness and conditioning; makes the soap milder and more gentle. |
Glycerin |
Acts as a natural humectant, attracting moisture to the skin. |
Goat's Milk |
Provides creamy lather and moisturization; rich in skin-loving vitamins. |
Water |
Used to dissolve lye (sodium hydroxide) and start the soapmaking process. |
Sodium Hydroxide |
Essential for saponification—the chemical reaction that turns oils into soap. |
Sorbitol |
Humectant that helps retain moisture; adds smoothness and softness to the bar. |
Stearic Acid |
Hardens the soap and stabilizes the lather for a longer-lasting bar. |
Propylene Glycol |
Helps keep the soap moist and improves smooth texture (common in melt-and-pour bases). |
Titanium Dioxide |
Natural mineral that whitens the soap, giving it a bright, creamy look. |
Essential oil/Fragrance |
